Last night’s dream was pretty darn interesting. I can’t remember the last time that a “nightmare” had made me feel scared. Not even the ultra-realistic dream of having my covers pulled off made me feel afraid.

I’m not complaining though. Last night’s dream was pretty damn good. Read the rest of this entry »

Sunday night’s dream was about a demon that we had (somehow) “banished” into a doll. The doll that it was banished into just happened to be a Chucky doll. Yeah, it just had to be Chucky.

The dream officially got on a roll when I apparently somehow asked the demon to leave the doll. This was the only way that it could be freed of its banishment. Why did I do such a thing? I don’t know. Perhaps I became incredibly angry at someone and I said that I wished the demon would take them. Honestly though, the dream wasn’t clear on this point. This scenario was only suggested at best.

The only part of the dream that matters is that this thing got loose. What’s the first thing that a stereotypical demon does when it’s freed from its prison? It goes after the ones who put it there, of course! Read the rest of this entry »

It’s 4:22.. well, let’s say 4:23 AM and I suppose that it goes without saying that I’m awake, eh?

This night’s dream was pretty farked up. It was about the murder of a woman in her young 20’s. Caucasian, longish curly dark hair.. an attractive enough gal.

The one who killed her was her boyfriend. Apparently he was into some seriously illegal stuff and she knew… and they had an argument? I can’t quite remember what triggered the murder, exactly.

When the dream first began this was just another murder on the over-hyped evening “news”. I wasn’t much affected by it, but I was playing some anonymous MMO and some of my guildies were deeply affected by it.

Yeah, well, it goes without saying that this is one strange dream… so if you think that this is weird.. heh, read on. Read the rest of this entry »

EDIT: The more that I think about it the more that I think that Alexandria was the tyrant’s era. This post is way too long to change every reference to it though. :-P

Last night’s dream was great. It was long, detailed, and adventurous. Of course, I don’t recall every detail, but I’ll write what I do recall.

The setting was gorgeous. It was a rolling mountainous region. Not much flat land here, the area had a large, cloud capped mountain off in one direction and the town itself was built upon many rolling hills. The architecture of the town was a mixture of Victorian and Gothic designs, with the large cathedrals sporting much of the town’s Gothic look.

You could stand in one location and look out over the town at the roofs of the various houses. Some were red, others white; it was a peaceful view. It was a Spring or Summer setting, so no snow or cold chills ruined the setting.

The basis for the story was described, even visually in the dream, as a pyramid. The pyramid was divided into four or five sections, and each section had its own color. Each section represented an “era”, or a “generation”, depending on how you want to decipher it. In each era the human race would go through a “phase”, and of course each phase repeated itself eventually.

It all represented how we live our species life out in cycles.

Unfortunately I don’t have a lot of time this morning to devote to writing my blog entry, so I’ll have to stick to the over all theme.

My dreams last night were very unsettling, and it seems that all of them had to do with a frustration with how much time was remaining before “sentences” were finished.

In one dream – the one that I experienced before waking up – this theme was taken literally as I was placed in jail for two years over something extremely minute. I was able to visit my family, but this seemed to only increase the crushing weight of how much time remained of my sentence.

The other dream, I think, had to do with how much time was still left of this college semester.

I wonder if my subconscious is attempting to tell me about how trapped I feel. :-P I don’t know, I almost doubt that and lean toward regretting time that has not been spent wisely up to this point and now I find myself in a situation in which I feel trapped that will consume considerably more time before I am able to live freely and attempt to “make up for lost time”.

When it comes right down to it, though, I don’t know. Either way I awoke feeling disturbed, and that’s not the best feeling with which to start the day.

I can’t be too specific about last night’s dream because I don’t have a lot of time to type it up, and I also don’t remember every detail.

The gist of it is that I lived in a small village. Myself, my mother, and many others were inside of one of the humble houses. Many people were outside or inside of other houses, and we were all preparing for the Halloween celebration. It was very traditional, if not mixed with other holidays, as there was a “May pole” as well as plenty of orange Halloween decoration.

I looked out the window and saw storm clouds rolling in and, a few minutes later, these storm clouds suddenly slammed to the ground, knocking everyone flat onto the grass and dirt. At first it was kind of exciting as no one was killed from it, it was simply a powerful gust of vertical wind. My reaction was something like, “Woa, did you see that? Sucks to be them!”.

Then it hit again, and again, and again and continued moving toward the house which we were all in. Whoops! Fun times were over.

It started with only a few people talking about it, but over the months, more and more “odd lights” were seen flying through the night skies. They were obviously seperate from stars and were flying within our atmosphere. It became such a common phenomena that the news began to seriously report them.

People were also disappearing. Were the disappearances some how connected to lights in the sky? There was no hard proof connecting the two, but many who disappeared were those who said that they had been seeing the lights.

This dream obviously began as a UFO dream. I remember one “scene” where I was outside and watched one or two of the lights move through the sky and they looked like (or at least very similar to) the foo-fighter that I saw in real life some years ago.

The dream took a very interesting turn, though. In it, I was standing outside in my tree house (?) and I was watching two of the lights “dance around” each other in the sky. I remember that I was scared because of the disappearances, but I was too curious to go hide.

First, I should mention that this post was made in a very tired state of mind. So it will need future editing to clean it up, if I care enough to do so. :P

Spiders have been featured in my dreams for a very long time now. More often than not they are not featured in a normal sense; rather, they are always appearing in some supernatural form.
