I was at the gym for longer than usual this morning because I had to get a ride there and back. So, since I had extra time to burn I decided to experiment with a few different machines.

First, awhile back I mentioned that I was considering adding an additional abs work out. After tinkering with that machine for a few minutes I came to the conclusion that, no, I really didn’t need to mess with such a torture device. :P Hah! Read the rest of this entry »

First, I should mention that this post was made in a very tired state of mind. So it will need future editing to clean it up, if I care enough to do so. :P

Spiders have been featured in my dreams for a very long time now. More often than not they are not featured in a normal sense; rather, they are always appearing in some supernatural form.

As you can see from both of my blogs, I use Google’s AdSense as well as Yahoo’s Publisher Network contextual advertisement systems (on seperate blogs, of course*). Due to the over-protective rules of these programs I can not give any specifics about what my earnings are. So I won’t.

…but let me tell you, I am REALLY sick of stories like this.

They suggest that all that you have to do is start a blog or a web site about some random subject and lo’ and behold, you’ll be raking in the dough.

Nonsense!

Yes! I have an old install of Flock on the ‘ol hard drive and I had imported my bookmarks at the time that I installed it. Sure it’s not a current copy of them, but “most” is better than “none”. ;D

Hurraayy! :D

Well, this is just wonderful isn’t it? I just found out the hard way that the Firefox browser stores all of its bookmarks inside of its fricking cache. Not only are the bookmarks stored in the cache, but apparently so are the settings for all of extensions. Lastly, the skin/theme also appears to be stored in the browser’s cache.

Bright idea there, folks!

Not a lot was changed about this morning’s work out, but I did skip the pecs exercise. I was feeling a bit shaky toward the end so decided to drop it. No need to have another nearly-sick morning thanks to over working myself.

Which leads into an ironic statement: I keep thinking about adding an extra machine to my morning work out. It’s another ab machine and this one exercises the inner abs, which would go a long way to firming up my belly. Then again, it would be just one more machine to mess with in the morning. Hmm..

The RSS feed for this sub-domain containing my personal posts now appears to be working correctly. Not that I know why someone would want to subscribe to my personal ramblings, but the option is now there if you should find yourself interested.

Good day,

I just noticed that it’s been awhile since I’ve posted an update on my progress of entering college.

At this time, everything – as far as I know – is completed. I am waiting for August to roll around so that I can confirm my student financial aid. At that point I will be able to calculate which costs are covered and which costs are not, and will be able to take out a loan if I need to.

As usual I had a difficult time getting to sleep last night (despite taking a sleeping pill), but I did make it to the gym this morning for my work out. Not only that, but progress continues to slowly move forward.

First, I’ve increased my time on the treadmill from five minutes to ten minutes. This should help burn off a few more calories during the work out, and it does get me sweating a bit more. That’s a good thing! More sweat means more burned calories.

Remember how I was adding additional weight to my work outs? This morning on my leg exercise I decided to skip the 80 pounds and began directly with 100 pounds (roughly 45 kilos). This may not sound like much, but I work each leg individually. One leg is left down at rest while the other does all of the lifting work, and then of course I switch legs.

First, I haven’t slept yet. I didn’t end up getting the sleeping pills yesterday; maybe tonight. My current plan is to stay up all night, all day, and then finally passout this evening. I worked out this morning, so that should also make me pretty tired. If all of this doesn’t work then I’ll throw the sleeping pills at my brain, and with a mad cackle I shall fall off into the abyss. :P

ahem, anyway..

Since I missed the gym for four days in a row (I don’t go on weekends) I decided to make up a little for it this morning. So I used the treadmill for 10 minutes and then went through my typical work out on top of that. Typically I use the treadmill for 5 minutes before doing my usual thing. It’s not much, I know, but I also didn’t want to over do it this morning.

Hmm, I simply went through the usual groups. Abs, legs, and so on. Though I did skip the machine which I call “the push up machine”. I worked my arms more than usual this morning, deciding on about 20 reps at 50 pounds for my chest, starting at 75 (or so) pounds and going up to 80ish for the latteral pull down, and doing 20 reps on the biceps at a humble 30ish pounds.

I’m a bit hyper in that “I’m way too tired” sort of way, so if this post is a bit bouncy then I apologize. It simply reflects my current frazzled condition. :P

I know, this is lazy. I didn’t even translate it into kilograms this time. I am awful this morning. :P
